Cake Pops

Cake Pops

And it happened again. Christmas is right around the corner and the advent moved away way to fast. Do you feel the same? You want to enjoy that awesome time of the year in all it’s facets, but then it moves by as fast as is came and you can be happy if you went to christmas market just one time and bought all the presents for your family and friends. If you need some small christmas gift and love to give away homemade presents, we might have something for you that will be an eyecather, I swear. Cake Pops in different variations. They don’t just look fantastic, they also taste so super delicious, everyone wants a bite. So they are a perfect last minute present for your friends. But they are not just a perfect gift, they are also perfect for every birthday, party or of course new years eve!
Many people I talked to, think it’s hard to prepare them and super complicated in preparation. It’s not. The only thing you need is time. But not to prepare them, just time to wait, till the chocolate is hard and the biscuit is cooled down and so on. It’s really important that you let the biscuit cool down completly and let the formed spheres cool down in the fridge long enough. If you don’t, the balls will fall down and are a waste of time. When it some to design the pops, you can do whatever you want. We used coconut, white/brown chocolate and colourful streusel. After they are finished, stick them into styropor and let them get hard!

So now let me wish you merry christmas and a super nice time with your family and friends! If you need some inspirations, you know where to find them: Here on the Blog! So don’t forget to Rock the Taste!

  3. Put the dough into a baking plate and bake it for 25 minutes at 160°C
  4. Now let the cake cool down for 3 hours.
  5. Crumble the cake with your hands or with the kitchen machine to get small crumbles
  6. Stir cream cheese and the rest of the powdered sugar until smooth. and knead it to a nice dough with the cake crumbles.
  7. Form 15 small spheres out of the dough, put them onto a plate and give them into the fridge for at least 90 minutes.
  8. Let the chocolate melt in a waterbath
  9. Dip the tips of the stick into the chocolate and the into the doughballs, so they stick perfectly.
  10. Now you can dip the whole balls into the chocolate and design your cake pops with streusel, coconut flakes or whatever you like. It's rather important, that you dont dip to much chocolate to the cake pops, they may fall of the sticks if they get to heavy.
