Swabian Pocket Burger

Those of you who tried the swabian pocket recipe of last week already, might have noticed, that you create the swabian pockets always in large amounts, so that the effort is worth it. So our created swabian pockets were enough for about 3 meals. Sunday till tuesday, everyday swabian pockets in different types. So we had to get creative – the pasta is awesome just in stock, but after a bit you need something different. Of course it would be possible to braise them in a pan and give some egg ontop, but thats to standard for us and we looked for a more creative way to use the last ones. Because of the flat form we instantly thought for burgers as we love burgers and are always on the run to find new recipes for them.
The Best thing, you can use almost everything that you can tell a leftover. you can stuff the burger with salad, rocket salad, onion, tomato, cole, cheese, bacon and so on, so just have a look in the fridge and use sonmething you can find. Just be creative and create something delicious! Because swabian pockets are swabian, we wanted to have a typical swabian burger bun as well, so we used pretzel buns. But if you don’t get them or don’t like them, just use another bun you like. So don’t wait, go straight to the kitchen and Rock the Taste!
 

Swabian Pocket Burger

Zutaten
  1. 2 Swabian Pockets
  2. 2 Pretzel Bun
  3. 1 Onion
  4. 1 tbsp Sugar
  5. 2 tbsp Whitewine
  6. 1 Tomato
  7. 50g Rocket Salad
Zubereitung
  1. Cut the Onion in Slices and roast it slowly in butter
  2. When the onions are brown as you like them, stir in the sugar and whine, boil it down till your preferred consistency is reached
  3. In the meantime roast the sliced Swabian Pockets in a pan
  4. Cut the pretzel buns in half and stack swapian pockets, tomato slices, melted onions as well as rocket salad on top.
  5. Enjoy!
